Hoje celebramos o chá de bebê da Jackie. O tema foi animais na floresta e tudo estava perfeito.

Today we celebrated Jackie’s baby shower. It was a jungle theme, and everything was perfect 

Todos amigos reunidos tinham um único pensamento: Desejar tudo de bom para esse novo bebê que é um presente de Deus.

All of the friends together share one thought: To wish everything good for this new baby who is a gift from God.

Fico pensando: Que grande milagre é gerar uma nova vida.

I am thinking: That greatest miracle is to generate a new life.

Ainda mais quando nossos melhores amigos fazem parte dessa jornada.

It is better when our best  friends are part of this journey.

Family Fun in Harmony!

Taking pictures of the Allen Family was guaranteed fun.  Everyone in this family is just beautiful and had wonderful smiles.

It was so much fun taking pictures of Rebecca and the little Landen. We waited 3 hours for him to fall asleep but he decided to stay awake for his photo shot.

The sertão (NE Brasil)

I would like to post some of my experience for the trip to the Northest Interior of Brazil. My journey to the Sertão (NE Brazil) was a unique experience in my life. I knew a new Brazil that I didn't know before. There is beauty and sadness in the same time.

Oh! que saudade do luar da minha terra. Lá na terra branquejando folhas secas pelo chão. Este luar cá da cidade tão escuro. Não tem aquela saudade do luar lá do sertão.

Nas patas do meu cavalo, galopei no meu sertão. Vi a seca, vi a fome, lobisomem e assombração Riacho virou caminho, graveto virou tição E as pedras queimando em brasa, Asa Branca na amplidão

Riacho virou caminho. De pedras ardendo em fogo.

No poço secou a água. Menino morreu sem nome

 O boi que morreu de sede. A roça que era verde. A seca torrou garrancho.

Senhor, mande chuva pro nordeste Senhor, mande chuva pro sertão   Lord, please, let it rain in Northeast. Lord, please, let it rain in Sertão.
